Refund Policy

Refund Policy for GCSE, IGCSE, Mock Exams and A Level Examination Registrations.

01 Purpose

This policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds related to GCSE, IGCSE, Mock Exams and A Level examination registrations made at Emperia College.

02 General Policy

All registration fees paid to Emperia College are non-refundable except under the specific conditions stated below.
Any request for a refund must be made in writing to the Examinations Office.
Refunds, where approved, will be processed within 4 weeks of the confirmed decision.

03 Cancellation and Refund Schedule

(Per GCSE/IGCSE/A-Level Subject)

04 Special Circumstances

Refunds after the centre’s registration deadline may only be considered in:

Medical emergencies – valid medical evidence required.
Serious exceptional cases – verifiable documentary evidence required.

Approval in such cases will be at the sole discretion of the Centre Management, and a minimum £25 per subject administrative charge will apply in all cases.

05 Exam Postponement

If a candidate wishes to postpone their examination to the next available series before the centre’s registration deadline, an additional £50 per GCSE/IGCSE/A-Level subject will be charged.
Postponements requested after the deadline will not be accepted and will be treated as a new registration.

06 Non-Attendance

No refund will be issued if the candidate fails to attend any of their examinations for any reason other than an approved medical or exceptional case.

07 Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed within 4 weeks from the date of approval.

08 Centre’s Right to Amend Policy

Emperia College reserves the right to amend or update this policy at any time.
